The first archaeobotanical record of environmental change and hominin diet in the Out-of-Africa Corridor during the Lower to Upper Paleolithic

    The botany research group aims to reconstruct the paleo environment of the Near East and related regions, particularly the floral habitats and zoning around the paleo-Lake Hula
  • Such paleo environmental reconstruction contribute to our understanding of the effects of climatic variations
  • hominin diet and behavior at the site of Gesher Benot Ya‘aqov will also be considered, in relation to changes in the spatial and temporal distribution of edible plants
